Green Lantern Corps 34

No longer must you stare at the crappy solicit version....here are the final colors! Great Job by everybody!
Oh, and for those of you who cringe at the Idea of an eye being gouged out on a cover, the fact is Arkillo is missing his middle finger Mongul is missing his left eye. It was just a good fit. Like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. "You got your chocolate in my peanut butter!" "Yeah, well You've got your finger in my eye up to the knuckle!"

  1. Holy Guacamole!

Arkillo is going to lose his thumb too, if he doesn't watch out.

  2. Wow, I think I got a little somethin' on me just from looking at that too closely. I could practically here the gargling and popping sounds they must be making.

  3. That is sick, man.

I mean, "sick" in the "that's awesome" way.

Was this digitally inked from your pencils or inked traditionally?

  6. Thanks guys. Those are the fine inks of Rebecca Buchman! She's told me she took extra long on this cover to get it just right, so I think it was worth it.

  7. I think that cover ROCKS!!! from the composition to the colors its off the charts. I really like how the emotion was captured and you can feel the tention and movement with in the still lines. Very nice image all around. Thanks for sharing.

  9. Nice job, chaps. Will DC shrink the logo to allow the top hand to be seen? Or have it overspill?

  10. Hey, check out this webpage: http://www.angelfire.com/ut/jovert/MODS.html , this guy is selling homemade heroclix (on ebay, this is his webpage) & has a couple dozen Lanterns: red, blue, green, yellow, the one that caught my attention was the 'Krybb' heroclix(villianclix), neat. They all look like tiny clay figures like on celebrity deathmatch, but its pretty neat...

  14. GL Corps 34 was a great read, but I have to say, MAN, it was quik, & left me wanting more. I hope to soon see a side story on the short-lived Guy & Ice sideline from several issues ago, any word on that?... On another note, I was excited to read that Philip Tan will be drawing the 'regular' GL series for a few issues (orange lantern), I enjoyed his short stint on Ironman & X-Men a while back...
